The Maintenance Supervisor will serve as a Senior Electrician and will coordinate and oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, carpentry, painting, cleaning and other building systems at the facility.
Train maintenance personnel.
Plan and oversee the schedules and work of maintenance staff.
Conduct performance reviews and job evaluations.
Handle welfare and disciplinary matters of reportees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Document and compile regular reports on maintenance and general condition of the facility.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility.
Inspect equipment and machinery at the facility on daily basis to determine the required maintenance or repairs.
Use the generated inspection reports to plan work assignments and project schedules.
Develop maintenance checklists, procedures and schedules and oversee their implementation.
Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Prepare maintenance budget estimates for review and approval.
Prepare monthly maintenance and facility condition reports
Prepare and maintain asset inventory and ensure proper storage.
Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance service for both inhouse and outsourced.
Conduct regular safety inspections and submit safety and health reports to your line manager.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned to you from time to time.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
At least five years’ experience of electrical maintenance two of which in supervisory role.
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
Extensive knowledge of building systems such as electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thoroughly troubleshoot faults and accurately recommend solutions in a timely manner.
Ability to plan and schedule maintenance tasks.
Excellent management and supervisory skills.
Great time management skills.
Great eye for detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Current Certificate of Good Conduct.
