The job holder is responsible for the quality of the software product through management of processes, test case design, and monitoring of system usage reports. The role also extends to internal processes, artefacts, and collateral audits. The role is responsible for providing guidance and leadership to Quality Assurance Team and its activities.
Provide leadership to the Quality Assurance Team.
Ensure that quality is achieved through good system design, quality control, and continuous improvement across Fintech Group.
Achieve continuous improvement through leadership commitment, employee involvement, and teamwork.
Continuously update the Quality Management Department handbook.
Engage Product Managers in addressing Quality Planning, Issues management, and reporting.
Develop a standardized approach for quality management reporting and analysis across the group.
Establish a Quality Management Team culture where the focus is on customer care.
Design systems that have structure and process that allows evaluation and comparison of quality measurements.
To manage the process of the test and live environment.
Actively be involved in ensuring that ISO standards are adhered to and work for hand in hand with the relevant teams to build strong internal business processes
The research evaluates and improves based on sound data collection and statistical methods.
Set team goals and performance objectives and evaluate team performance
Comply with company policies, Standards, and Best Practice Guidelines
Complete software development tasks as defined by standard operating procedures
Achieve annual performance plan objectives
A degree in Information Technology or equivalent
An MBA/ Post Graduate qualification or relevant certifications will be an added advantage
Certification as a tester is required.
Ability to formulate Systems Development strategies in line with the Company’s vision
Must possess Leadership/management experience.
Ability to carry out research and Implementation of Best Practices in the relevant field
Ability to identify consumer needs and develop systems to fill the identified needs
Ability to benchmark with industry standards as far as Software development and certification are concerned
Knowledge of general market research principles
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field
